This program is designed to immerse students in the spirit and practicalities of all aspects of luxury, and to equip them with the necessary skills to become the future leaders of an exciting and increasingly global industry.
The program, taught entirely in English, is organized around two acclaimed axes of prestige: Bordeaux (world capital of fine wine), and Paris (epicenter and birthplace of luxury).
Students participate in a variety of seminars taught by industry leaders and workshops run by recognized experts. They develop a thorough understanding of both hands-on management tools and exclusive brand strategies across a broad range of luxury sectors, including:
- Champagne, wines and spirits
- Fashion and haute couture
- Perfumes and cosmetics
- Watches, jewelry and leather goods
- Luxury travel and tourism
- Prestige hotel, spa and wellness concepts
- Gastronomy and gourmet food retailing
The program involves visits to leading luxury players such as a Bordeaux Grand Cru Classe, a top Champagne and Cognac house, as well as to the headquarters of prestigious European perfume, cosmetics and fashion houses.
A gastronomy tour, encompassing world class restaurants and luxury food retailing concepts, is an integral part of the program, as well as behind-the-scenes familiarization visits to luxury hotels.
Students are expected to complete an internship of at least five months' duration, starting in July. Students are also required to submit a Master's Thesis on an appropriate subject in the luxury industry to complete their study program.
